How are balloons measured?

Modified on Fri, 19 Mar, 2021 at 3:23 PM

Latex and foil balloons are measured differently and the majority of measurements on the Bargain Balloons website have been given to us by the manufacturer of the product.

Latex balloons are measured using the approximate diameter of the balloon when inflated. The diameter measures a straight line from one side to the other side through the balloon.

Foil balloons are measured uninflated by the largest size, either by the width or the height. Sometimes Bargain Balloons provide both width and height. The term “18-inch” is often used by manufacturers to reflect any balloon that measures 16-inches to 20-inches.

It is important to note the measurements provided by manufactures is an estimate and may not be approximate.
