Latex Safety - Choking Hazard

Modified on Mon, 1 Nov, 2021 at 12:14 PM

Uninflated and broken latex balloons are a choking hazard. Children should always be supervised when playing with or around balloons to avoid them be mistaken as toys.

If anyone, specifically children, attempts to ingest latex, it could block airways causing serious harm or death. Latex balloons should be immediately thrown out once used or popped to avoid children choking on them.
