Delivery to APO, FPO, and DPO boxes with US States AA, AE, AP

The following branches provide global mail services to official military personnel assigned to designated posts abroad. The following are postal facilities that operate abroad as a post office branch of the USPS.


APO: Army Post Office– Army or Air Force installations.

FPO: Fleet Post Office– Navy installations and ships.

DPO: Diplomatic Post Office–Associated with U.S. Diplomatic locations.


Please Note: Bargain Balloons ships orders to APO, FPO, and/or DPO boxes are considered domestic US mail, and therefore we only use USPS Priority Mail. Delivery times for USPS Priority Mail to an APO, FPO and DPO box is 5 to 10 business days.


The minimum cost for shipping with USPS Priority Mail is $10.92 to a maximum cost of $15.92, however, USPS does not offer time guarantees on this service.  


Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight or dimensional weight and all shipments are shipped with traceable services. A Business day is Monday to Friday for USPS, FedEx, and UPS, however, USPS may deliver parcels on a Saturday.


When entering your address at checkout, please make sure to use the US Military State Code (AA, AE, AP) and not the domestic mail hub.


Before we ship to any APO, FPO, and DPO box, we will verify the address with USPS to make sure the address is correctly formatted. If you fail to enter the correct Military State Code, we will assume the order is shipping to the domestic state you chose at checkout rather than AA, AE, or AP.

Please NoteThere are times when the delivery of an order may be delayed. This can happen because of bad weather, service alerts, misroutes, mechanical failures with trucks or airplanes breaking down, or isolated local events in cities the package is traveling through­– which is out of our control. Delays are more likely to remote APO, FPO, and DPO boxes. Please plan ahead and leave a few extra days for delivery if possible.
