What is a "Stand A Balloon" and a "Balloomit"?

Modified on Fri, 20 Dec at 11:57 AM

The Stand A Balloon is a discontinued product created by a realtor named Tom Long. He developed a wire stand to hold balloons specifically for open houses. Eventually, the business expanded and the stands were used for other types of events and different uses. The Stand a Balloon was manufactured in four sizes and was used for car dealerships, apartment complexes, pool parties, etc. The ultimate goal was to inflate balloons without the use of helium and have them stand upright.

Balloomit is also a discontinued product created by Tom Long as a flower balloon ring. Six balloons were applied to the ring to form a flower arrangement. This was done by pressing down on the suction cup, against a glass surface. Arrangements lasted on average of about 30 days or longer if used indoors with good quality balloons.
