"Misrouted" means that parcels are delayed. Here is an example of the UPS message you might see, when tracking a misrouted parcel.

"A PROCESSING ERROR AT DESTINATION CAUSED THIS DELAY;THE PACKAGE WAS MISROUTED AT THE HUB. IT HAS BEEN REROUTED TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION SITE"

The message means the parcel is not where it should be. The courier company will resort the parcel and deliver it to the correct location. This issue can take 1 day or more to fix. If the parcel is misrouted in the express network, the time to correct the issue is normally faster since express orders move by airplane.
