Why are UPC codes printed on foil balloons?

Modified on Thu, 30 Dec, 2021 at 6:19 PM

Almost all foil balloons that are 18-inch and bigger have a bar code printed on them so retail stores scan products being received, sold, and maintain inventory.

Air-fill balloons can be quite small, which is why manufacturers do not print UPCs or barcodes on their balloons. However, there are exceptions like Anagrams mini air-fill balloons which are typically made with a bar code. Balloons that are sold in retail packages will include a bar code on the package.

If you require a barcode on the balloons included in your order, please add a note in the comments section when checking out, and we will double-check if all balloons have a UPC.
