Hand pumps for balloons are not all equally created, as some are poorly constructed. A good hand pump should last a long time and fill a balloon quickly. Our most popular hand pump is the dual-action inflator (product code #31095). We recommend this pump over any other design. We have discontinued selling most other designs, as we have found this pump to be the best. The larger the balloon, the longer it will take to inflate a balloon by hand. We do not recommend blowing up latex balloons larger than 18 inches with hand pumps, as it will take a longer time. You can also air-fill foil balloons using a hand pump, by inserting the tapered end of the pump into the foil balloon and inflating. Be careful not to tear the balloon tail or damage the self-sealing valve.

Dual-Action Inflator (Product Code #31095)

This lime green hand inflator is used to inflate latex balloons. The dual-action inflator has a tapered nozzle for easy inflation of 5 inch, 6 inch, 9 inch, 11 inch, 12 inch, 260Q, 321Q, and 350Q latex balloons. The nozzle is improved with a non-roll structure. Not recommended for 160Q balloons.

Single-Action Pump (Product Code #47509)

This red hand pump is designed to inflate 5 inch, 6 inch, 9 inch, 11 inch, 12 inch, 260Q, 321Q, and 350Q balloons. This pump has a storage compartment that can hold balloons. Although the compartment storage is unique, we recommend purchasing the green pump, as the handle is more ergonomic and inflates balloons faster.

Pocket Pump (Product Code #47512)

This compact dual-action hand pump is designed with a tapered nozzle to fit 160Q and 260Q balloons. You may want to use the green dual inflator for 260Q balloons, as the compact design of this pump requires many more pumps.
