Dual Regulator Instructions

Dual Regulator:

The dual inflator is the most commonly used inflator in the balloon industry. It can be used to inflate almost any type of party balloon including latex balloons, foil balloons, and bubble balloons.

The Dual inflator comes with multiple nozzles. Always use the correct nozzle for the balloon you are inflating.

Latex Nozzle (1): Sends helium into the balloon quickly.

Foil Nozzle (5):  Regulates gas to slow its release, protecting the delicate self-sealing valve of  a foil balloon.

How it Works:

  • Use the latex nozzle to inflate Bubble balloons and Orbz balloons, even though they have self-sealing valves. This ensures they reach their full round shape.
  • The foil balloons nozzle automatically stops when the balloon is full to prevent over-inflation.
  • When inflating Bubble balloons or Orbz, go slowly to avoid damaging the balloon tail or valve.

Components of a Dual Balloon Inflator:

1- Latex Balloon Nozzle

  • Usually rubber with a tilt valve
  • Used for latex, bubble, and Orbz balloons
  • Releases helium into the balloon once tilted
  • Do not use this nozzle for foil balloons

2- Pressure Gauge (optional)

  • Measures the amount of gas in the cylinder
  • Always reads zero when the tank is closed
  • Some gauges measure full/empty only, others show PSI (pounds per square inch)
  • Around 2000 PSI is typically full

3- Ribbon Cutter (optional)

  • For quickly cutting curling ribbon

4- Regulator

  • Controls the helium flow into a foil balloon.

5- Auto-Fill Foil Nozzle

  • Reduces gas flow to the correct pressure for foil balloons
  • Automatically stops when the balloon is full
  • Prevents over-inflation and protects the self-sealing valve
  • Do not use this nozzle for latex or bubble balloons

6- Hand-Tight Wheel

  • Used to attach the dual inflator to the tank

7- Connection to Cylinder Valve

  • Screws the inflator securely to the tank
  • Tighten by hand only
